BEGA Releases Third Quarter Report
The Board of Ethics and Government Accountability (BEGA) has posted its third quarter report[pdf] of ongoing investigations for fiscal year 2013. Required by the Ethics Act, the quarterly report lists all the BEGA investigations, including a description of the allegations, status of the investigation and any resulting dispositions. For FY 2013 to date, the BEGA has initiated 41 investigations with a more than 50 percent closure rate.
